Out of Home Sales Manager


The OOH sales manager will be leading the out of home (OOH) sales team. 
They’ll be responsible for the development & delivery of Rubies ambitious growth plans, with sole responsibility for some of our most valuable customers.

This is a broad role spanning accelerating growth in existing accounts and winning new business across multiple channels.



Lead the OOH Sales Team: 
Managing and motivating your sales team to hit sales targets and efficiently win new accounts. Two direct reports with the potential to grow the team if successful.

Win New Accounts:Identify larger groups that fit with Rubies strategic goals and establish meaningful partnerships with them.

Account management:  Manage and develop our relationship with our key end customers and wholesalers. You’ll have full P&L responsibility for a high percentage of Rubies business, to which different strategies & tactics may apply.

Generate and own the commercial forecast for your customers.  You’ll work with the commercial, marketing and operations teams to ensure demand aligns with supply. Given the sizeable growth planned, accuracy is particularly important.

Customer insight:
This is an externally focused role, in which you will hone a deep knowledge of your customers and their markets. You’ll use this to guide your customer plans, and present back to Rubies to guide our strategy. You will be expected to be the expert in your customers and not being fully reliant on other functions to support your objectives.

Commercial strategy: 
Help develop and implement our commercial plans, ensuring your customers have the right range, promotions and marketing to maximise profitable growth. The strategies of the significant customers will need to be conscientiously aligned with the overall wider Rubies Strategy.

Dig into the data to guide and support decision making.  You’ll work with various data sources to measure performance and generate insight to share back with the business, including excel and CRM software.



The right person will be:  A proactive, organised sales manager with proven experience managing a field sales team.
Have great influence and negotiation skills, being great at generating and building commercial relationships at all levels of business.
Be driven to win new business and grow existing accounts.
Are passionate about working in a small, fast growth business environment able to grow with the business, and be prepared to lead recruitment & build a team in the future passionate about sustainability and the Rubies in the Rubble wider mission
